After Nirvana had been running for two months, the works council of the KVR expressed concern about the reception of the video performance that Liftarchiv was showing in the foyer. Many employees found the gestures and actions shown to be provocative or inappropriate and too problematic for their everyday work life. After a heated discussion with the representatives of the KVR’s management, the staff council, the building department, the art commission and Szuper Gallery, it was decided that the video installation would be closed prematurely and the Liftarchiv temporarily closed. Beige shutters were hung over the Liftarchiv.
